- There is a document for a Judith Woodall in 1748 that in all likelihood was Judith the wife of John Woodall. Judieth [sic] Woodall was sponsor for a christening in 1748. She served jointly as sponsor with Mary Stokes and Robert Jones, Jr for the child Mary Cragg, daughter of Wm and Susanna Cragg, christened 7/15/48.[1] It is not known if Judith had a family relationship with any of these individuals or if she was only a friend of the family.
