Biography

William was born in 1877. He was the son of Starling Sams and Rebecca Madding. He married Bertha Daubs on October 13, 1900, in Edwards County, Illinois. Their children included: Jessie L, Gladys I, Blanch V and Maynard Eugene Sams. He passed away in 1946, and was buried at East Lawn Cemetery, Urbana, Champaign County, Illinois.[1]
