Biography
Marie Anne Samson was born on 28 Apr 1745 in Pointe-de-Lévy (Lauzon) in Lévis. She was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste Samson and Marie-Anne Gesseron. At age 17, Marie Anne married Jean Baptiste Huard on 18 Oct 1762 in Saint-Joseph de la Pointe de Lévy parish. There are records for 7 children from this marriage: Marie Anne, Jean, Marie Josephte, Marie Louise, Geneviève, Marie Angélique and Catherine. Marie Ann Samson died at age 33 on 29 Jan 1779 in Lauzon; she was buried two days later in Saint-Joseph de la Pointe de Lévy parish cemetery.
