David B Sanborn was born October 24, 1836, in Erie County, New York, a son of John Taylor Sanborn and Susanna (Hubbard) Sanborn. David served in the "Grand Army of the Republic" during the American Civil War, as a member of the Fifteenth Illinois Infantry Regiment.
David married Anna Louise Wiltshire, a daughter of George Wiltshire (1818-1897) David died February 23, 1913, in Norton county, Kansas and is buried in the Edgar Cemtery, in Clay county, Nebraska. [1]
