John Sanborn was baptized July 19, 1719, in Hampton, New Hampshire, a son of Enoch Samborn and his first wife, Elizabeth Dennett. John was remembered by his father in his Will and inherited property in "Hales Town."
Enoch Samborn wrote his Will on March 7, 1760: "Enoch of Hampton Falls, saddler, for the Love Good Will and Affectionwhich I have and do bear to my ward Leoveing Son John of Kingstown, Cordwainer, also for other Good Causes ... land in Hales Town my full Right in said Tract Both in the Divided and Undivided." [1]
John married first, Margaret Clifford, who died February 18, 1758. John married his second wife, Elizabeth Bartlett, on July 26, 1764. They lived in East Kingston, where he died in 1795. John's Will was dated February 18, 1791 and proved October 16, 1795. John's daughter, by his second wife is [2]:
Elizabeth Sanborn, who married Enoch Sanborn, born March 15, 1752, a son of Ebeneezer Sanborn and Martha (Salter) Sanborn.
