McKinley Sanders, 78, of Asheville, died Monday, February 28, 2000.
A native of Ethridge, TN, he has been a resident of Buncombe County for the past 51 years. He was the son of the late Lester T. and Minnie Baker Sanders, and was preceded in death by a son Donald M. Sanders. He was a WW II Army Veteran and a retired employee of E.A. Industries Inc.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Griffin Sanders of 56 years; two daughters, Brenda Jones and her husband Larry of New Orleans, LA, Wanda Keyros of Atlanta, GA; a son, Ernest "Ed" Sanders and his wife Verdie of Hendersonville; a daughter-in-law, Betty Sanders of Asheville; four grandsons, Mark, Jeff, Michael and Greg Sanders; two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Sanders and Trenton Sanders; and two nephews.
Graveside services will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park
