Biography

Martha is the daughter of David and Sarah (Brazelton) Sanders, born in Guilford County, North Carolina. On 11 January 1827 she married Elias Elliott in Guilford County, North Carolina.

Elias and Martha’s children: William S. Elliott - 11 November 1828, Patrick “Henry” Elliott - 14 February 1832, David S. Elliott - 30 December 1834, James “Nixon” Elliott - 28 October 1837, and Mary Jane Elliott - 12 July 1840

According to Quaker Meeting Records, Martha died on 24 September 1850 near Ogden, Henry County, Indiana and is buried at Raysville Cemetery, in Raysville, Indiana.
