Biography

Bishop was born in 1910. He is the son of Leon Sanders and Darnell Carlisle.

Bishop Sanders was enumerated as grandson of the head of household at Newberry, Alachua County, Florida for the April 29, United States Census, 1930. He was noted as born 1910 in Florida and single. He was a laborer (farm) as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head James W Carlisle, wife Ellen Carlisle, daughter Louise Carlisle, granddaughter Sera Sanders and grandson Clyatt Sanders.[1]
