Arthur was born about 1873. He is the son of Elijah Sanders and Mollie Mullen.[1] Arthur married Henrietta Kroth on 1 December 1897 at Jefferson county, Kentucky.[2] In "1937, ...they followed their son Ralph to Erie, Pennsylvania. While in Erie, Arthur is thought to have sold formal photographic portraits on a door-to-door basis. Arthur eventually moved to Jamestown, New York, where he lived with an old acquaintance."[3] Arthur died in 1957 at Jamestown, New York.[4]
