Mary Hinson is not the daughter of the Julius Hinson who married Jemina Woodward, unless Jemina was his second wife and much younger than he was. The more likely scenario is that the Julius who married Jemina was her brother.
Mary Hinson was born about 1717 in what is now known as Albemarle, Va.
In 1768 Philip Hinson gave sworn testimony in the Virginia Gazette that his wife, Mary, was the daughter of Julius Saunders and the granddaughter of William Saunders, both of Albemarle County. [1]
She is named in her Grandfather's will as Mary Hinson, with her husband Philip as sole Executor. [2]
