Daniel W. Sanders was born in September 1843 in Warren County, Tennessee. He was the son of James Sanders and Juliann Durham. He passed away in April 1933 in Parker County, Texas[1] and is buried in Jay Bird Cemetery, Parker County.
James is enumerated as a farmer with land valued at $150. In his household are his wife, Juliann, and children William, Louisa, Ann E., Wesley, James, and Samantha. Son Ervin F. Sanders was born and died September 1847.
Daniel and Samantha moved to Texas about 1875. In their household are children Etta, Urvin, Constance, and Julia Ann. Christeny Sanders was born in 1873 in Tennessee but is not with the family. She is buried in Jay Bird Cemetery, Parker County. Grave marker says: Dau of D W and S E Sanders, born 5 Jan 1873, died 28 Jan 1889. Where she was living is unknown at this time.
Daniel and Samantha are living in the household of daughter and son-in-law, Etta and Kin Williams and their children Ira, Eston and Wilburn.
