"Benjamin Sanderson (John3, Jonathan 2, Edward 1) was born 16 November 1707 at Watertown (Watertown Records). The date and place of his death are unknown, but it is possible that he was the Benjamin residing in Sudbury, Vermont, in the 1790 Census." [1]
"He married in Leicester 8 February 1736/7 Elizabeth Green (Vital Records; Emory Washburn, Historical Sketches of the Town of Leicester, 1860, p. 369), daughter of Nathaniel and Elizabeth (Spraugue) Green of Stoneham, later of Leicester, 1723, born in Stoneham, Mass., 30 November 1714." [2]
"About 1770 the family with six children moved to Woodstock, Vermont, where they were among the first settlers. Benjamin sold, 26 March 1778, a farm o f62 1/2 acres at Leicester to Ezekial Chase, shipwright, of Dartmouth, Mass (Worcester Co. Deeds, 87:278). " [3]
Note on Death: The 1790 Census taken at Woodstock, Vermont, shows a household headed by Benjamin Sanderson, with two males over 16 years of age, and four females. It is entirely possible that this household included Benjamin Sr., his wife, Benjamin Jr., and his wife and family. I've included a death date of after 1790 for Benjamin Sr. and Woodstock, Vermont as the probable place of death.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Benjamin by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Benjamin:
Sanderson-825 and Sanderson-108 are not ready to be merged because: I belive the correct death place should be Vermont. Once this is corrected, they can be merged.
