[1] Early Victorian Gown Worn By Bride An early Victorian gown of parchment moire satin will be worn by Miss Joan Gwen Sanderson for her Wedding this evening to Mr John Henry Perdriau. The ceremony will take place at Christ Church, South Yarra, and Canon C. H. Murray will officiate. THE bride, who will be given away by her father, is the only daughter of Mr and Mrs R. F. Sanderson, Wilks Avenue, Malvern. She will be at tended by the Misses Pete Slattery and Diana Forster Woods. Made with a fitted bodice with a heart-shaped neckline and long, light-fitting sleeves, the bridal gown has a bouffant skirt with a circular train gathered into the waistline at the back. With her frock the bride will wear a veil of filmy tulle held in place with orchids, and she will carry a bouquet of orchids. The bridesmaids' frocks of blue lace over taffeta are made with full skirts and short-sleeved bodices, and will be worn with headdresses of lace and water-lilies to match their bouquets of dark red water-lilies. The bridegroom, who is the youngest son of Mrs Charles Perdriau and the late Mr Perdiau, Burke Road, Deepdene, will be supported by Mr Russell Dash as best man and Mr Fletcher Dennistoun as groomsman. Ushers will be Messrs Bruce Sanderson, Alan Coutie, Paddy Clark, and Rodney Eggleston. After the ceremony, a reception will be held at 9 Darling Street, South Yarra. - Broothorn Miss Joan Sanderson, only daughter of Mr and Mrs R. F. Sanderson, of Wilks Avenue, Malvern, whose marriage to Mr John Perdriau, younger son of Mrs Charles Perdriau and the late Mr Perdriau, will take place this evening.
