Biography
William was born in 1814. He was the son of John Sandford and Ann Rigden. He was christened in Folkestone.[1]
He married Eliza Williams (b.1817) in Folkestone, Kent in 1835.[2] They settled at Dover and had 5 children:[3]

- John Hogben Sandford 1838–Deceased
- Caroline Sandford 1840–Deceased[4]
- Ellen Sandford 1843–Deceased
- Emily Sandford 1845–1928
He passed away in 1895 in Woolwich, Kent.
