Biography

Mabel Gray Sands was born in 1876 in Nassau, Bahamas to Charles Tyldesley Rhodes Sands and Margaret Cameron Rattray Sands. She was christened in 1883 by Reverend Dunlop at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Nassau.

Mabel married Kirkwood Graham Malcolm, son of of Wellesley Malcolm and Jemima Alday Malcolm, 1 August 1898 in Kings County, New York. The couple had children - including Margaret Cameron Malcolm and Alfred Bruce Malcolm.

Mabel Gray Sands Malcolm died 16 April 1961 and is buried in The Western Cemetery.
