Biography

Anders was born 20 May 1795. ^{[1] [2]}

Anders' occupation was "sjötimmerman", a type of carpenter/woodworker on the lake.^[3]

Anders married Brita Pehrsdotter Sågström on 9 May 1833 in Gävle, Gävleborg. ^[4]

They had three children, all born in Gävle:

• Andriette Therese Sandström (27 Mar 1834) ^[5]
• Anders Gustaf Sandström (12 Jan 1837) ^[6]
• Maria Wilhelmina Sandström (17 Aug 1840) ^[7]

Anders died at age 67 and 8 days, on 28 May 1862 in Gävle. ^{[8] [9]}

Notes

Anders may have been married previously, to Brita Ersdotter Berglind, with children from this marriage, all born in Gävle:

• Brita Christina Sandström (28 Jan 1821), who became a maid in Stockholm ^[10]
• Anna Catharina Sandström (24 Jan 1824), who married Per Åsenlund ^{[11] [12] [13]}
• Margreta Erika Sandström (1 Sep 1826) ^[14]

If so, Anders' first wife must have died sometime between Sep 1832 and May 1833, because he married his second wife on 9 May 1833. ^[17]

However, none of the above children were mentioned in Anders' will, which is quite strange if they were his children. ^[18]
