Biography
Marriage
Amelia Sandy, Spinster, and Charles Packer, Bachelor, both of this parish were married on 19 November 1808 in St Dunstan in the West, City of London, England by Banns.[1] The marriage witnesses were N. Sandy, J Sandy and M Clark.
Census
In the 1841 Census, Amelia Packer (aged 50) lived at 20 Oxford Street in the District of All Souls within the Borough of St Marylebone, Middlesex, England with her husband, Charles Packer in the house of Thomas Towns.[2]
In the 1851 Census, Amelia Packer (aged 63) lived at 21 Oxford Street in the ecclesiastical District of St Andrews within the parish of St Marylebone, Middlesex, England with her husband, Charles Packer (65) in the house of Charles's partner, Thomas Town (60).[3] She was born in Hurst, Berkshire, England.
In the 1861 Census, Amelia Packer (aged 72) was the mother-in-law of George Holloway in High Street, Amersham, Buckinghamshire, England with her granddaughter, Louisa Holloway (20).[4]
In the 1871 Census, Amelia Packer (aged 82) was the grandmother of G F Blandford at 71 Grosvenor Street, St George Hanover Square, London, England.[5]
Death, Burial and Probate
Amelia's death (aged 89) was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1877 in the Yeovil district.[6]
Amelia Packer died at age of 89 years at Northover Vicarage, Northover, Somerset, England on 28 March 1877 and was buried on 3 April 1877 at St Andrew's Churchyard, Northover, Somerset.[7]
Administration (with the Will) of the effects under £200 of Amelia was granted at Taunton, Somerset to Georgiana Elizabeth Maurice ( Wife of the Reverend Lyttleton Henry Powys Maurice, Clerk) of Northover the Granddaughter the Universal Legatee on 5 June 1877.[8]
