Biography

Amos was born 1 Jan 1802 in Middletown, Delaware County, New York. He was the son of Cyrenus Sanford and Ann Hubbell. ^[1]

He lived with his parents and siblings in Middletown, Delaware, New York .^[2][3]

He married Relief Bellows 6 Mar 1824.^[4]

He lived on the old homestead at Hubble Hill, MIddletown, New York.^[5] In 1830 in Middletown, Delaware County, New York his family included 3 males under age 5 (Emory, Oscar, Albert), 1 male age 20-29 (Amos) and 2 females age 20-29 (Relief, unknown). ^[6] In 1840 in his family included 1 male under age 5, 3 males age 5-9, 3 males age 10-14, 1 male age 30-39, 1 male age 70-39, 1 female under age 5, 2 females age 15-19 , and one female age 30-39.^[7]

He died intestate in late 1843. Relief Sanford and Daniel Rowland were designated administrators of his estate on 28 Dec 1843.^[8] James Roberts and Milo W Hubbell of the town of Middletown, Delaware County were approved appraisers of the estate.^[9]
