47-year-old adoptee, working on her biological family tree. I am a mother of two and a step-mother of one. My adoptive parents were Wm. Clifford Hackett & Dorothy A. David, both of whom are, sadly, deceased but I am doing this tree based on my biological family.

First met my maternal birth family in Nov 1990. Met some of my paternal family in 1991.

Was married in 2001. Had my first child in 2002. Left my husband in 2005. Had my second child in 2010, with my common-law spouse.

This is the profile for me in my ADOPTIVE family tree:

(I checked and here's what WikiTree says:

WikiTree only allows a person to have one mother and one father. This provides the basic structure for family trees.

Another option for adoptions is to keep two separate profiles for the adopted child. One profile would have the birth name and birth parents and the other would have the "real" name and adoptive parents.)

The first of my deceased biological relatives you are able to view will be my maternal great-grandparents:

Great-Grandma Wadel (nee Goetz) -

Great Grandpa Wadel -

my Grandpa Sangoi -

as well as my paternal grandparents, whom I never met due to my birth father not continuing a relationship with me.

Grandma Becker (nee Dietrich) -

Grandpa Becker -

I've been interested in genealogy for just over a year and have spent a lot of time researching in that time.
