Dierick Fransz (Dirck) SANTVOORT, skipper, born 1566, , christened (calv) 1566 in Purmerland (there was no possibility to be christened calvinistic in the catholic settlement Zantvoort, it was the time of religious upheavels), died on 28-11-1599 in Rotterdam,
Buried on 05-12-1599 in Laurenskerk Rotterdam. This Santvoort lineage over time moved nearly entirely out of Zantvoort (probably because of the war and religion). Among them were burgomasters and many were or had been aldermen. Most were in the herring bussiness (blooming and profitable) or brewers and many came to important merchant and other functions when moved to other places. Dierick however died young, which was of disadvantage for his child(ren). The arms of the Santvoort lineage were inherited by Dirck Fransz Quispel too.
Publication of the banns on 19-06-1588 in Rotterdam, church marriage on 05-07-1588 in Rotterdam (calv) to
3841 Willemtien AERIANSD (Willempgen), born circa 1565 in Rotterdam (religion: calv), died na 1599 in Rotterdam.
