Marianna Saporito is born 26 September 1821[1] in Corleone, the daughter of Vincenzo Saporito and Giuseppa Marsala.[2]
Marianna marries Giuseppe di Carlo, a butcher (macellajo)[3], on 30 January 1844. Her father, Vincenzo, has died by this time.[2]
Marianna and Giuseppe have ten children, nine boys and one girl. Two children die shortly after birth, Giovanni and the first son named Vincenzo.[1] Antonino (1844), Giovanni (1847), Vincenzo (1852), Giacomo (1856), Francesco (1859), Giuseppe (1862), and Maria Rosa (1864) are in Wikitree.
Antonino, named after his paternal grandfather, is born 28 October 1844.[1]
The first son named Vincenzo, after his maternal grandfather, is born in February 1851. He dies on 25 June.[1]
The second son named Vincenzo is the fifth child[1], born 22 June 1852 in his parents' home in via S. Agostino, Corleone, named . Marianna is 27 (b. 1825).[3]
Giacomo is born 22 November 1856.[1]
Francesco is born 1 June 1859.[1]
Giuseppe, the younger, is born 14 October 1862.[1]
Maria Rosa is born 14 October 1864.[1]
Antonino marries Maria Crocella on 7 November 1870.[1]
Vincenzo and Maria Santa Castro marry, each for the first time, on 10 November 1879.[4]
Giacomo marries Domenica Campagna on 29 Dec 1881.[1]
Giuseppe dies 18 February 1883. He is 68. Marianna survives him.[1]
Francesco marries Leoluchina Troia on 3 Oct 1883.[1]
Maria Rosa marries Giuseppe Castro, Santa's brother, on 10 February 1885. Her father has died by this time, and her mother is living.[5]
Giacomo and his wife immigrate to New York around 1900.[1] Giacomo returns to Corleone before his death.
Marianna dies 16 March 1903. She is 81.[1]
Antonino dies 11 August 1907. His wife, Maria, survives him.[1]
The surviving Vincenzo dies 27 July 1937, the widow of Santa.[1]
Giacomo dies 29 March 1939 in Corleone.[1]
Maria Rosa dies 15 March 1946 in the Bronx, New York. Giuseppe has predeceased her.[1]
Francesco dies on 27 July 1954, the widower of Leoluchina.[1]
