Biography

Elizabeth and William Sapp moved their family to Bessemer in 1886. In an edition of the Bessemer weekly it stated that William A. Sapp had served as Tiler of Bessemer Lodge A.F. and A.M. for many years. Their daughter, Ella taught for 50 years in the city schools of Bessemer.

And, their son Matthew operated with Mr Chelsa Hagler, the Sapp and Hagler Store.
