Biography

This person's parents originally used the last name "Sauvageau." Starting shortly after their marriage in 1895, and starting with the birth of their 1st child in 1896, this person's parents started using the last name "Sargent." All their children, including this John Edward Sargent were born with the last name "Sargent. When the parents died (both in 1916) their deaths recorded them as "Sauvageau's."
