Sarony was married twice. His first wife, Helen, died in 1858; his second was Louie.

Gustave Adolphe Napoléon was born on 5 March 1821, and was baptized the same day at Notre-Dame de Québec. He was the son of Adolphe Sarony and Marie Lehoulier.[2]
