Marie Perthena Sarver was born in January 1877 in Rayne, Acadia Parish, Louisiana to George Sarver and Nancy Perry.[1]
In 1880 she was counted by the census living there with her parents and eight siblings.[2]
By 1900 she was married four years and had two children; she was pregnant with a third and living in Acadia Parish next door to Faulks on one side and Sarvers on the other.[5]
Marie Perthena Sarver Faulk died in 1901 and is buried at Ebenezer Cemetery in Acadia Parish, Louisiana.[4]
After her death Lenus married her younger sister, Pearl Sarver.[6]
