He was a longtime resident of Baton Rouge retired from the Baton Rouge Police Department with 41 years of service.
Survivors include two nephews Jesse Arnold and wife Ronnie of Zachary and Howard Arnold of Balwin, Missouri. Also included are four nieces Patricia Clayton and husband Wayne of Central; Teresa D'Atre and husband Mike of Highpoint, NC, Debbie Arnold and husband Billy of Waxhaw, NC and Dolorita DeGraffenreid of New Jersey. Additional survivors include numerous great nieces and great nephews.
Mr. Satterwhite was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Ola Satterwhite, and two sisters Violet Arnold and Faye Gurgol.
Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, on Friday March 13, 2015 from 5PM until 8PM and on Saturday March 14, 2015 from 9AM until time of services at 10AM, conducted by Rev. Don Hulsey, interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana.
