Three of their sons married Satterwhite relatives: (1) John Daniel m. Obediah Satterwhite’s daughter, Nancy Satterwhite. (2) Jefferson Daniel m. Sarah Elizabeth “Eliza” Parker Satterwhite b. 3 Sep 1831 John Marshall Satterwhite’s widow. he was the son of Edward Satterwhite b. 1801. (3) Thomas Daniel b. 3 July 1813 m. James Satterwhite's daughter, Nancy D. Satterwhite b. 18 March 1817.
