He married Elizabeth (Keddy) of Cockermouth on April 28 1741 in Pardshaw Meeting House. [1]
David and Elizabeth had three children Moses in 1742, and twins Ann and Elizabeth in 1744.
Elizabeth passed away in 1744 after only three years of marriage, her twins were born in February and died that same year. She was buried in March so her death was likely related to childbirth.
David remarried the following year to Martha (Waite) in Holme Cultram on 20 December 1745. [2]
David and Martha had three sons, Joseph, John, and Isaac. They also had four daughters, Betty, Jane, Tabitha, and Rebekah.
David died in 1791 and was buried on June 12 1791. [3]
