OBITUARY Mrs Maslen, wife of Mr. -G Maslenn, of Glenfield, Rous Mill, passed away in Pipiteapah private hospital/Newcastle, on 1st June. The cause of death was anaemia, and latterly cerebral meningitis. The deceased lady, with Mr. Maslen, left here on a health recruiting trip some weeks ago, but the change, however, was of no avail Mrs. Maslen, who was 48 years of age, was a daughter of the late Mr. J. Saul, of Lismore, and Mrs G. Cooper, of Goonellabah. She was married in 1887 in Lismore, and with her husband proceeded to the Hunter River district whore they resided for many years. In 1913 the family returned to the Richmond and settled in Rous Mill, where, by her genial, homely disposition, she made many friends. A husband and six sons are left to mourn their loss, namely : Messrs. A. G. Maslen (Mereweather, Newcastle), W. J. Maslen (South Gundurimba), B. C & J. Maslen (Rous Mili), R. (Maslen (Rous), A. Maslen (Rous Mill), and TL. T. Maslen (Rous Mill).
