James Saul was born in 1686. He is the son of James Saul. He was christened on 22 Aug 1686 in Cartmel, Lancashire, England.[1]

His son James Saul was christened in Cartmel on 30 Aug 1713.[3]
Research Notes
A James Saul married Jane Dewhurst on 23 Apr 1712 in England.[4] More sources are required to confirm that the James Saul born in Cartmel is the same James Saul who married Jane Dewhurst. This James is unlikely to be the father of the attached James Saul born in Heversham, Westmoreland in 1713 given that he had a son James Saul christened that year in Cartmel.Hardman-1532 11:01, 16 November 2022 (UTC)
