SAUL-BERGMAN, DIANE ALINE
Diane passed away Sep.17, 2005, at her home in Tierrasanta from ovarian cancer. Diane was born to Donald and Roselle Saul of El Cajon where she attended Johnson Ave Elementary, and El Cajon High. Her academic achievements include a degree in Sociology from SDSU and a Juris Doctor from Calif Western School of Law. After passing the State Bar exam on her first attempt, Diane began her law career in private practice specializing in Juvenile Law. Over a decade later she applied and was accepted for a position as General Council, State Compensation Insurance Fund, where she worked until the onset of her illness.
Diane was quiet and unobtrusive by nature. She was highly respected and warmly regarded by her coworkers, peers, close personal friends and family alike. Diane lived her life to the fullest and was always grateful for what she earned and achieved. She never complained and she never lost sight of the core family and humanitarian values instilled in her by her parents.
Diane is survived by her husband Robert Bergman, her mother Roselle Saul, and five sisters, Carol Gapen, Peggy Barbarin, Cathy Gaut, Mary Carlson, and Janet Kuehl.
She can be visited 4 - 8 PM, Friday, Sep.23, at the El Camino Memorial Park & Mortuary, 5600 Carroll Cayon Rd, SD, 92121. Services will be held 10 AM on Saturday, Sep. 24, at Ascension Catholic Parish, 11292 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, SD, 92124. She will later be inurned at Ft. Rosecrans Nat'l Cemetary, in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate in memory of Diane Saul, to: Sharp Hospice Care, PO Box 3739, La Mesa, Ca. 91944, or the American Cancer Society.
