She married William Duggan Tarlinton 17 Nov 1829 in St. Mary's, Sydney, New South Wales, son of Margaret Duggan. He was born 11 Aug 1806 in Parramatta, New South Wales., and died 17 Oct 1893 in New South Wales.
William Duggan Tarlinton was the son of convicts, Margaret Duggan and William Ruffian. He adopted the name Tarlinton dropping the "g" on his mother's marriage to John Tarlington in 1811. John Tarlington, also a convict, came to Australia on the "Matilda" in 1791.
