Biography: According to my maternal grandmother Martha Bate Bacon, Nora was a nurse and was probably about the same age, so could have been born around 1900. They both probably nursed wounded soldiers from WW1 as there were many of them still in nursing homes and hospitals when they were both young women. Nora passed away about 1945 from cancer.

Now know that her maiden name was Saunders. Believe she was originally from Tenbury. Told it was Tong and there are some relations of that name. On-going reasearch.

Nora was a nurse and a very nice person. She died in 1945 of cancer. Harry and Nora had four sons. Michael John Bladen was their last child and was 11 years old when his mother died. His siblings had probably left home when Nora died.
