The veil, also of blue, was of cut tulle and fell from a turban of silver tissue with ear drops of orange blossoms. Her bouquet was of shaded hydrangeas, carnations and tuber roses with streamers of satin ribbons in pastel shades. Miss Mollie Creighton, in her capacity of bridesmaid, made a charming picture in cyclamen georgette, the flared skirt edged with silver lace and finished with posies of hand made flowers. Her hat of plaited ribbon had an up-turned leaf of cut tulle and her posey was of pink radiance roses and sprays of lavender. Mr. J. Campbell, brother of the bridegroom was best man. Friends of the bride had decorated the church with masses of flowers and the colours of the bridal gowns, blue and cyclamen, were introduced in gigantic true lovers knots of looped ribbons. After the ceremony Mrs. Saunders entertained the guests at her home. She wore an ensemble costume of black satin with touches of amethyst and black satin hat en suite. Mrs. C. T. Campbell, mother of the bridegroom, chose black morocain and added a black hat with leaves of autumn tones. After the reception the bride and bridegroom departed on a motor tour to the Blue Mountains and Jenolean Caves, prior to journeying to Queanbeyan, their future home. The bride travelled in an ensemble suit of Bole de Rose morocain and velour. Her felt hat in the same tone was finished with a smart rose and gold buckle.[3]
