Biography

Frank Leslie Saunders was born on March 29, 1893, at Scone, NSW to Samuel and Amy Alice Saunders. He was baptized at St Lukes Church in Scone on May 7, 1893.[1]

Frank enlisted on September 1, 1915, at Toowoomba, Queensland in the 25th Battalion. He was described as 5'10" and 148 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair. [2]

Frank Leslie Saunders married Olga Hargraves Lucas on September 30, 1920 at St Peter's Chuch in Neutral Bay. Both were residents of Neutral Bay where Frank was a tram employee.[3]

Frank died in 1971 at Weston.[4]
