Hi Richard

Congratulations on your Pre-1700 Self-Certification! Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Or you're interested in a particular time period, location, or topic ? Let me know. I can help you figure out if any Projects fit your interests and introduce you to the Leaders.

Projects are a great way to collaborate on your ancestors' profiles and learn the naming conventions and other standards used for profiles from particular places and time periods.

Have you read Research Before Editing? The Sources Style Guide is also essential reading for working on pre-1700 profiles.

Have fun

I am greatly interested in my family history. Much research has already been done on my Father's side, and I look forward to tying that in with others on the site; moreover, I would love to work on my Mother's side of the family as well. Any contributions I can make that help others along the path as well would be terrific.
