Fourth son. He took over his mother's Broadway Great Farm (manor) of 2960 acres. He is mentioned in his father's Will, proved 4th July 1558: "To either of MY SONS ANTHONY and WALTER SAVAGE a rent charge or annuity of £5 and 100 marks when they reach the age of 21.

As the proprietor of Broadway Manor he was Patron of the church at Broadway. He was also a Deputy Lieutenant, and Justice of the Peace for Worcestershire.

By his wife, Elizabeth Hall, he had seven sons. The date of death shown above is the date of his burial in Broadway Church.

Walter Savage and Elizabeth Hall had seven sons, Richard (1582-1614), Ralph, Charles, Anthony, Francis,

John, and Walter, and one daughter, Katherine(wife of John Abbington). After the death of Walter Savage, Elizabeth Hall married Simon Underhill (baptized 16 November 1589, d.1664)of Idlicote
