Mary (Savage) Barnes was a Virginia colonist.

Mary[1] was born about 1716. She was the daughter of Griffith Savage II and Patience Hope. She married William White about 1736. She married John Sacker Barnes about 1768.

Mary was born circa 1716 at Accomack Co, VA.

Mary was named in her grandfather's will on 20 January 1722 at Accomack Co, VA. She was shown as Mary Savage, daughter of Griffeth Savage in the will of Capt. George Hope.[2]

She married William White (IV), son of William White (III) Carpenter and Margaret (-----), circa 1736 at Accomack Co, VA.[1]

Mary was named as an heir on 7 September 1738 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that she was shown as the wife of William White "that lives on the seaside" in the will of William Wilson..[3]

Mary was named in her father's will on 5 February 1739 at Accomack Co, VA. Although she was not named specifically, her father did name a son-in-law William White and William White left a widow Mary..[4]

Mary was named in her mother's will on 23 October 1765 at Accomack Co, VA. She was shown as daughter Mary White in the will of Patience Savage. William White was one of the Extrs..[5]

Mary was named in her husband's will on 5 February 1767 at Accomack Co, VA. She was shown as a wife Mary in the will of William White. Wife and son William White were to be Extrs..[6]

She married John Sacker Barnes, son of William Barnes and Susannah Parker, circa 1768 at Accomack Co, VA.[7]

Mary was named as the executor of a will on 28 August 1771 at Accomack Co, VA. Mary Barnes & Wm. White were Extrs on the estate of Wm. White and Jno. Sacker Barnes & Wm. White were also shown as Extrs., so evidently the widow Mary married Jno. Sacker Barnes..[7]
