Biography
According to the family, Frances Aribella Savage got the name Cupid when she went to Magnolia Texas to get her Civil War pension after James Noah Robertson passed away. She went with her half brother William (Bill) Cupid to get the Civil War pension. Frances could not read or write. John Cupid was her step-father. Her name is recorded both ways as Aribella Frances and Frances Aribella.
