Frederic was born 11 July 1783 in Miramichi "ondoyé par Jean Savoye, son grand-père". He is the son of Jean Savoie and Marie Judith Allain. He was baptized 20 May 1784 in Carleton. His godparents were Baptiste Allain and Marie Josèphe Savoie. [1]
