Biography

Gilbert was born on 17 December 1862 and was baptized on 1 June 1863 in Neguac. He was the son of Vital Savoie and Charlotte Poirier. [1]

He was recorded in the 1901 census, single at age 38, in his widowed father’s household. [2]

He married Rachel Robichaud on 2 September 1902 in Neguac. [3]
