Louis Savoie was born on 24 Feb 1827 and was baptized the next day in Sainte-Marie parish in Beauce. He was the son of Pierre Savoie, tinsmith and farmer, and his first wife Angélique Gagnon. Godparents at Louis' baptism were Louis Gagnon et Geneviève Savoie. At age 26 Louis married Adele Lehoux on 5 Jul 1853 in Saint-Elzéar-de-Linière parish in Beauce. There were six known children born into this marriage. Louis' death date and location are unknown at this time.
