I have noticed several profiles have recently been created with all lower case Last Names. Please only use mixed-case for Last name with the first character being uppercase. Each of the profiles created with all lower case will have to be merged into a profile with mixed case last name so this is causing extra work for a few people.
Thank you!

P.S. To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.
Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz just to add a little more to Kay's message. You have moved very quickly into an area where it is more complicated and difficult to find good sources. Also as Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects coordinating them is essential. Please ensure there is a location and that the location data matches dates of profiles, avoid abbreviations, add citations & links for sources to support the data, please review these pages Reliable Pre-1700 Sources and Help Sources for Pre-1700 as well as United States reliable sources. Just adding the statement Cemetry record is not a source, there has to be a viewable open link to the document
The United States Project and its subprojects for each state, would be of interest. Adding the tag UNITED_STATES will connect you Follow this link for your tags I would also recommend adding surname tags your surname, your mother and grandmothers maiden surnames

You will find more information about reliable sources here https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:United_States_Project_Reliable_Sources
Also, we all share these ancestors. So you don't want to create duplicates (or reject possible matches) but rather connect to existing ancestors. Here is the help for duplicates https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Duplicates and information about merging https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Merging

Start with our New Member How-To pages. They will save you time, energy and frustration as you add your family profiles. Check out Find -> Projects to learn of group projects like United States. Also try clicking your surname tags to find other members following those names.
We are so happy to have you here in the WikiTree community. Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help!
