Kinsley was born in Rindge, New Hampshire, in 1799, the son of Hezekiah and Sarah (Russell) Sawtelle.[1]
He followed the trade of shoemaker, at one time overseeing a large number of employees. [2]
He married Thankful Watkins, daughter of Stephen and Eunice Watkins of Wendell, Mass.[3] They had 12 children.
In 1850, he lived in New Ipswich, New Hampshire.[4] He died in 1864, probably in New Hampshire, and is buried at the Pleasant Street Cemetery in Greenville, NH.[5]
