When his motor-cycle and a car collided at the corner of Beaumont street and Maitland-road, Islington, yesterday, Thomas Sawyer, 68, of Darvall-street, Carrington, suffered. an injury to the chest, and had his scalp, right arm, left hand and legs lacerated. Newcastle Ambulance took him to Royal Newcastle Hospital. He was allowed to leave after treatment.
