Biography
Rebecca Sawyers, born 7 May 1792 , was the eigth child of John Sawyers and Rebecca Crawford, married Jacob Meek on March of 1814.[1] They settled on the head waters of Roseberry Creek, one mile north of Washington Church, where they were married. [2] Rebecca died 9 Aoril 1870 at Roseberry Creek in Knox Co TN where they had lived most of their lives.[3]
They had nine children:
