Biography
In 1841 she is living with her parents and siblings @ Grubbs, Hurstpierpoint, Sussex. In 1861 she is living with her husband, William Parsons, and 5 children, at Hickstead, Twineham, Sussex. In 1881 the family are living in Worth, Three Bridges, Sussex. Both her husband, William, and son, Albert, are Engine Drivers. In 1891 Harriet is now widowed and taking in laundry whilst living with her son, Albert, and daughter, Fanny, in New Street, Three Bridges. In 1901 she is now living in Worth with her son, Walter, and his wife, Mary, daughter Louise (aged 12) and an adopted son, Frank A W Smith (aged 1) Harriet @ age 73 is still taking in washing to make ends meet. She died in 1903.
