Biography

Birth and Baptism

Susan Sayers was baptised 2 April 1865 in Hurstpierpoint, Sussex. Her parents were James and Mary Sayers. Ann Sayers (perhaps her twin sister?) was baptised the same day^[1][2]

In 1871 Susan was living in Hurstpierpoint with her parents and four siblings^[3]

In 1881 Susan, aged 16, was working in Lewes as a servant ^[4]

marriage and children

Susan Sayers married Edward Fielder in 1890 in Lewes, Sussex^[5]

In 1891 Edward and Susan were living in Ashcombe, St Anns, Lewes^[6]

Death

Susan died in childbirth in 1891 in Lewes^[7]
