Her Parents were Burgess Captain Edmund Scarborough II (~1594 - ~1635) and Hannah (Anna) (Smith) Scarborough (aka Scarburgh) (1595 – 1645 [1]). Her Father was born in North Walsham, Norfolk, England and her Mother was born in St Lawrence Pountney, London, Middlesex, England.

1660Marriage of Katherine Scarborough and Randall Revell Sr in in Manokin, Northampton County, Colony of Virginia, British Colonial America. This settlement was declared part of Somerset County, Province of Maryland in 1662; Virginia lost its claim to the area after 1662. [5][6]. This was his second marriage. He was a widower with a 21-year-old son, Edward Revell.
The Scarburgh family bible lists [7] the marriage of Randall Revell to Katherine Scarborough circa 1660. Same citation also discounts the "theory" that she was the daughter of Katherine Potts.

There's no evidence that Katherine who married Randall Revell was a daughter of Edmund and Hannah Scarburgh--all of Edmund and Hannah Scarburgh's children were christened at Saint Martin in the Fields in Westminster, and not in North Walsham; there is no Katherine among the Scarburgh christenings recorded in the parish register of St Martin's. As far as I'm aware there isn't any actual evidence that she's a Scarburgh at all. (Clayton Torrence in "Old Somerset on the Eastern Shore" speculates that Col. Edmund Scarburgh and Randall Revell married sisters, hence Revell's wife being called Scarburgh's "sister", in this case sister-in-law).
Colonial Families of the USA, 1607-1775, pg 447 lists Katherine Scarborough as the daughter of Captain Edmund Scarborough and sister to Sir Charles Scarborough, physician to Charles II, James II and William III, and also sister to Edmund Scarborough. Is this not a reliable source?
