Biography
Anna Maria Schaeffer was born February 19, 1744, in Shaefferston, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Alexander Shaeffer, a native of the Palatinate, Germany, who immigrated to American in 1740. Anna's father located first in Heidelberg township and then layed out Shaefferstown, naming it after himself. Anna's mother was Anna Eva Engle. Anna Maria married Christopher Meyer. [1]

- Michael Myer, born August 2, 1771, in Campbletown, Lebanon county, Pennsylvania, died April 1, 1842, in Centre county, Pennsylvania, married Elizabeth Derstine
- George Peter Meyer, born March 25, 1782, in Campbeltown, died January 1, 1854, in Aaronsburg, Center county, Pennsylvania, married Catherine Meyer
- Christiana Meyer, born February 2, 1784, in Campbeltown, died December 25, 1864, married Samuel Carper, in 1806
Anna Maria (Schaeffer) Meyer died January 1, 1823, in Campbeltown and is buried in the churchyard of the Salem United Church of Christ. [2]
